Our Autocross are usally held once a year. We can either run a loose surface or a grass surface event. For the last few years we have run the event in Corcoran's Quarry in Dualla just outside of Cashel. Last year the COC was Jim O'Brien who sadly passed away earlier this year.
The course loop is usually about 1 mile long. To acheive this we normally run around 2 laps in succession. Vehicles do not run toegher but are left off in intervals. Usually about 3 cars on the track The winner of the event is calculated by the fastest time of the day. Not the aggregate times of the runs. Course loop is about 1 mile in a circuit around 2-3 laps. Indivduals Times. 3 Cars interval Fastest indivdual time. Fastest of the time day.
The vechicles that are used in this event can be single seater specials, rally cars or autocross cars.
