2011 Autocross

The Tipperary Motor Club will run an Autocross on 25th of Sept 2011. The Event will take place at Corcorans quarry in Dualla in Cashel Co. Tipperary. This will be the second time the motor club will run an autocross at this location, in 2005 the club ran a very successful and enjoyable event at this same venue so this years event is sure to be an enjoyable day out. The event will comprise of 1 practice run and 3 timed runs with the fastest run to count the track length for a run is approx 1.4 KM. The event will be a very reasonable €90 entry fee and regs will be available to download on tipperarymotorclub.com in the next week.

The course loop is usually about 1 mile long. To acheive this we normally run around 2 laps in succession. Vehicles do not run toegher but are left off in intervals. Usually about 3 cars on the track The winner of the event is calculated by the fastest time of the day. Not the aggregate times of the runs. Course loop is about 1 mile in a circuit around 2-3 laps. Indivduals Times. 3 Cars interval Fastest indivdual time. Fastest of the time day.
